I help adults release what’s been held in the nervous system and find relief from anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, and ADHD. My approach blends neuroscience-informed care with compassion, using tools like Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and somatic therapies to gently process what’s been stored, creating space for true connection and healing.

I am also ADHD-informed and bring personal understanding of chronic illness.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, or the daily challenges that come with ADHD? Many people find it difficult to focus, stay motivated, or manage emotions when life experiences and stress begin to pile up. Trauma and ADHD can often overlap, making it even harder to feel balanced and in control. As a Veteran’s wife, I have a deep understanding of the impact PTSD can have on individuals and families. I am passionate about helping people who are hurting rediscover hope, strengthen resilience, and regain confidence in themselves. You are not alone; we will walk this path together.

Whole Hearts Counseling provides compassionate and strength-based therapy to support you in living life wholeheartedly. Many of my clients have been very diligent in their healing process and have explored a wide array of services from yoga to acupuncture and everything between! Though they have experienced some sense of “better”, they do not feel entirely whole or fully settled in their bodies. With compassion and humor (Yes, humor! We are allowed to have fun on this journey of healing), we begin to explore with curiosity what may be blocking the ability for you to shift into greater connection with self and others.

I am your licensed clinical psychologist specializing in coparenting after separation or divorce. Coparenting is a collaborative approach to raising children when the parents are no longer in the same household. Life can feel overwhelming when you're stuck in overthinking, people-pleasing, irritability, or a constant sense of not being enough. These patterns often lead to disconnection from others and yourself. You might want relief, clarity, or to finally feel like yourself again. I help by exploring the core beliefs keeping you stuck and reprocessing the painful experiences behind them. Along the way, we’ll build emotional resilience, strengthen skills like distress tolerance and mindfulness, and reconnect with a more grounded, authentic version of yourself that's aligned with your values, not just survival.

I work with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced loss, life changes, and challenges with grief, self-esteem, identity, relationship problems, illness, and chronic pain, dual diagnoses and mental illness.
Cycles of Life Counseling has added teletherapy services. Protect and care for your mental health and well-being while you protect and care for your physical health. My treatment philosophy is that people want to feel good and live with purpose. Sometimes though, life can feel too big to manage. Sometimes we feel stuck or unable to adjust when "life happens", We may have not learned a better way to cope or live well with or through challenges. Add to that, frustration and disappointment over feeling this way and we feel even worse. Let's consider another way for you ‘to be’ in the world, to live more fully, with emotional freedom.

No matter how many times you have the same argument, you and your partner can’t seem to get through to one another. You care about each other, but these days you can’t talk about anything without it turning into a fight. A comment about chores or finances spirals out of control, and somehow you both end up feeling misunderstood, criticized, and alone. Maybe you’ve already tried couples therapy—maybe more than once—without success. It’s left you both wondering why no amount of talking has changed the cycle you’re stuck in. I believe with the right tools and a willingness to do the work, there’s hope for your relationship to heal.

I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, especially those with ADHD, as well as those navigating complex conditions like brain/spinal cord injuries and chronic pain.
Your brain is busy, creative, and sometimes feels like it is running five tabs at once. You may be navigating ADHD, anxiety, or both, while also managing real life things like co parenting, divorce, school pressure, work stress, or major life transitions. Focus can be inconsistent, emotions may show up loudly or unexpectedly, and routines feel great in theory but hard to sustain. You want therapy that understands both your diagnosis and the context of your life, helping things feel lighter, more manageable, and more you.

Chronic Pain Therapists
How does chronic pain therapy work?
Engaging with a psychotherapist to help treat chronic pain does not mean that one’s pain is all in their head. Therapy for chronic-pain patients has been shown to benefit both the mind and the body, targeting physical symptoms and increasing daily functioning. In other words, for many, addressing their emotional health through therapy affects their physical health. A therapist can help a client challenge unhelpful thoughts about pain and develop new ways to respond to it, such as distraction or calming breathing techniques. Studies have found that therapy can be as effective as surgery for certain cases of chronic pain and many doctors recommend trying psychotherapy in advance of considering invasive surgery.

What are the most effective treatment options for chronic pain?
Stress, anxiety, depression, catastrophizing, ruminating, lack of activity, and social withdrawal all make chronic pain worse. Addressing these issues, research shows, can help people gain control over their pain symptoms. Therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and mindfulness-based stress reduction, along with greater pain-management education, have been found to help people reduce fear and disability.

Are there new treatments for chronic pain?
Many cases of chronic pain, particularly those involving back pain, remain medically unexplained. But there is evidence that changes in the brain or nervous system are caused by previous physical ailments such as tissue damage; in such cases, the brain may continue to send out pain signals despite the physical cause having healed. To aid patients under these circumstances, a recently developed treatment known as pain reprocessing therapy (PRT) is designed to help the brain “unlearn” this response. A PRT practitioner helps individuals to reduce the “threat value” of their ongoing pain signals until they can reappraise them as less threatening and fear-inducing. They also help an individual to develop new emotional regulation skills.

How long does therapy for chronic pain take?
There is no set timeline for recovery from chronic pain, especially as there may be a range of physical and psychological causes for any individual’s discomfort, but most patients should expect to see a therapist for a number of weeks or months, typically spanning at least 12 sessions. Studies of pain reprocessing therapy found that many individuals’ experience of pain lessened in eight sessions over four weeks.
