Hi! My name is Zach and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in Mesa, Arizona. Beginning counseling can often be scary and overwhelming. I do everything I can to create a warm, safe, and friendly space for anyone seeking counseling services. I am passionate about using research-based strategies that work to help you reach your goals. **ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** Welcome! What an honor it is to start this journey with you. I know that reaching out for help can often be the most difficult part of the therapeutic process. I am wholeheartedly committed to helping you during a difficult time on your journey in life. I see couples and adults of all ages and specialize in women’s issues including perinatal mental health. Life happens; stress, mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, for example, can all be too much at times, causing us to disconnect. You currently possess strengths that will help you to make progress in your journey toward your best self.

Specialties would include Anger Management, Phase of Life Issues, and Spirituality. I offer life's experience in these areas (and others) and am confident and competent to design a game plan that can benefit the individual that comes to therapy.

Do you spend an excessive amount of time thinking about the past or the future? Do you struggle with extreme emotions of fear or sadness? Have you noticed your self-talk is very critical? I trust that you know yourself best, and right now you know you don’t feel your best. My ambition in life is to help those who are suffering emotionally. My hope in therapy is to realign your body sensations to your emotions, and reconnect you to your true self. I provide a space that is judgment free to support you in gaining helpful skills that fit your strengths and are useful at this stage in your life.

There is no ideal client. There are just two people: a human and another human (the counselor) working through some of life's hardest moments together to find peace and safety, and perhaps a coping skill or three along the way.

Angela Douglas, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. She received her Masters Degree from Arizona State University. She believes in change! She provides a supportive, confidential and calming environment in which she works together with her clients towards their goals. Angela's clinical approach focuses on strengths and solutions, using cognitive-behavioral, family systems and sandplay therapy.

So glad you're here. I'm accepting, flexible and nonjudgmental. When deep emotional wounds and needs are tended to, we often function better because we feel better. We may find that we embrace unhelpful beliefs about ourselves and others after experiencing difficulties. Befriending and/or challenging the inner critic is essential and enlightening; this process will even be fun at times! Thoughts, feelings, behaviors, relationships, and environment are dynamically intertwined. There are several entry points of interruption to strategically approach life’s challenges, or “opportunities for excellence”. Small steps are preferred!

Hello! I'm Colin, a licensed psychologist serving Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, and the surrounding areas. I have over ten years of experience treating depression, anxiety, and a wide variety of other concerns, and currently provide individual counseling to adults aged eighteen and older.

Courage and bravery are such an important part of your journey, especially your healing journey. During life we can have our emotions numbed and don’t even realize it. I have been in the caring professions for over 25 years with experience in psychiatric group homes & hospitals, higher education, & church settings. I have training in and use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Restoration Therapy, and EMDR. I have extensive training in and use the Gottman Method for couples work.

I believe a person is not defined by a diagnosis, behavior, interpersonal conflict, or psychological trauma. However, I understand the influence they can have on our lives. As Dr. Gabor Mate states, "What we call the personality is often a jumble of genuine traits and adopted coping styles that do not reflect our true self at all but the loss of it." Through compassionate inquiry, I strive to assist individuals in understanding how our emotional well-being and social connectivity are intimately intertwined with addictions, health, and disease.

As a licensed professional counselor my goal is to help clients who are seeking guidance and understanding. I believe I can walk along side a client in his/her journey by first developing a plan that you can commit to.
