What if you didn't HAVE to worry and feel down all the time. These last few years have created unprecedented anxiety, depression, and relational strain. When life seems uncertain and out of control, anxiety and depression may not seem like a choice. Anxiety, depression, and relational strife can lead to physical symptoms of low energy, agitation, headaches, stomach aches, dizziness, and racing thoughts that destroy our connections and concentration, keeping us focused on the worst case scenario, and not on what we have to accomplish in this moment and day.

My own healing journey began at a very young age. I have had many experiences throughout my life, teaching me that healing is possible. These experiences led me to studying and learning various therapeutic techniques such as: EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and Integral Somatic Psychology. These trauma focused techniques can help guide us through deep suffering and emotional pain, toward healing the mind, body and spirit. Even when your path seems darkest, there is hope and light along the way. It takes courage to face demons from the past and move forward with strength and hope toward the future.

Hello! My name is Megan Eberhardt, and I am a graduate student at Walden University, working towards my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As part of this program, I am completing my clinical internship. I chose to become a counselor because I wanted to help people in a deeper and more meaningful way than I could with the tools I previously had. I particularly enjoy working with children. While I’ve always known that I wanted to give back and support others, the path to doing so has evolved over the years. My goal as a counselor is to help facilitate growth and provide the insight my clients may need.

Every day presents a new mountain with another summit to conquer, with support and self-determination, we can enjoy the journey to our goals rather than the destination itself. As a therapist with ADHD and autistic symptoms, I can help you identify and create systems that will give you the structure you need to thrive. I have had many struggles throughout my life being neurodivergent and have a unique perspective on how to reframe and work with our needs rather than against them.
