Luna Yono
Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW

Luna works with individuals who long to feel more connected - to themselves, to their loved ones, and to the world they move through each day. Her clients often come feeling disconnected, unsure where they belong, or carrying the quiet belief that there’s something “wrong” with them. Rooted in curiosity, compassion, and care, Luna creates a therapeutic space where all parts of you are welcome - even those that feel uncertain, unseen, or unsure. Her sessions are warm, non-judgmental, and often infused with humor and laughter, making room for both vulnerability and meaningful growth.

As the parent of an adult child with chronic illness, and through my work with families facing serious illness in a hospital setting, I have a deep understanding of the art of managing medical stress.
Most of my clients are overwhelmed in all areas: mind (anxiety, depression); body (emotional eating, chronic illness); and soul (finding your passion). In the first session, I help clients to prioritize their concerns. But once we begin therapy, clients are surprised that progress in one area often spurs on progress in other areas. Perhaps the night-eating is related to your panic about an oncoming divorce that is related to your difficulty with finding a loved one who will cherish you, rather than chide you? Perhaps all of this angst—along with mood-enhancing foods (sugar, fat, white flour) set off an IBS flare?

Additionally, I work with adults experiencing crisis and trauma by facilitating and fostering organized thought with grounding techniques as they navigate their painful journey, supporting them as they learn to get their power back!
Spectrum disorders affect 1 in 36 children in the United States, and with social media bringing awareness, it can be confusing to navigate a new diagnosis with various forms of information being shared. If you or your child has recently received a spectrum diagnosis, know that you are not alone. Nurturing this journey through proven modalities bolstered by peer-reviewed research and empirical data is central to achieving practical outcomes and overall well-being. Every person's journey is unique and should be explored through methods that ensure a welcoming and safe environment.

I specialize in 3 areas: relationships, addiction recovery & wellness. Using a holistic approach, I work with clients to identify underlying issues and concerns that keep clients from making sustainable change, while creating an environment where clients feel valued and safe. I use the Enneagram of personality typology with clients so they can identify their mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns and raise self-awareness. Clients are introduced to Enneagram type based practices they can use on their own to sustain desired change.
