Waitlist for new clients
As I head into retirement, I will no longer be accepting new clients. My modalities include Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (level 1) developed by Janina Fisher, EMDR, Sensorimotor (level 1 and 2 trained) and Post Induction Therapy (PIT).I have found these modalities useful in restoring relationships in the key areas of life: with self, others, and with a Higher Power. This is how I developed my practice name--Triune Freedom. By bolstering the 3 key relationships, I have been privileged to walk with clients as they journey to hope and healing increasing effectiveness in their lives both professionally and personally.

Children and families are often in need of healing. This belief led me to earn my Master’s degree in Marriage, Family and Child therapy. What I have been most inspired by after 16 years of working in this field has been the capacity for inner resilience that people have shown in the face of emotional pain, adversity, and trauma. Although other traditional modalities may be incorporated (ex, CBT), I predominately use a creative, play-based approach. This includes therapy interventions such as art, games, and sand tray interventions. Together, we’ll journey toward living brighter, happier lives.

Practice has immediate openings for clients for in person or Telehealth. My associate, Giselle Ortiz Howard, who is bilingual and is offering telehealth. Please see her link attached below. As a therapist, "I am dedicated to helping my client's work through their issues and uncover what is the best solution for their individual needs. Change is rarely without difficulty and not always welcome, but most people who come to therapy are coming for that reason. They want their lives to feel more fulfilled but they need guidance, encouragement and understanding to complete this sometimes painful task."

Kim Kriesel is passionate about helping women and their partners to and through motherhood. No two women will experience the road to motherhood in the same way and sometimes becoming a mom is not the experience we had anticipated for most of our lives. For 1 in 11 women (couples), infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss are a devastating reality they never dreamed would touch their lives. Reaching out for support is a great choice during this difficult time.

Your anxiety is a car on a racetrack of thoughts where the only way off is a brief pit stop for repairs. But that only delays reentry to the same circular pattern. Your mind turns familiar scenarios, images, and disasters over and over again, plunging you into stomach-clenching agony. Stress from work, family, and other relationships only make it worse. The worry and fear get so bad sometimes that they boil over into panic. The shame of losing control causes the cycle to start all over again. So you become avoidant of the people and places that seem to trigger these difficult feelings.

Relationships never start off difficult. Disappointment, pain, betrayal, distance, emotional shut-off are all among the myriad reasons they become difficult. Often times the distance between two people can feel insurmountable. A trained and effective therapist is able to bridge that gap and provide guidance and support on the journey back to relational health. Research shows most people wait 6 years to seek therapy. By this time, the sparks of discontent have become a fiery inferno and the help of a professional is invaluable in the process of healing and reconciliation.
