I work with adults, teens, and preteens who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that don't seem to change, even when they understand what's going on and have tried to think their way through it. Using trauma-informed expressive arts, EMDR, IFS-informed parts work, and somatic approaches, I offer a supportive space where you can slow down and explore what’s beneath the stress and move toward real change. Together, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, capable, and connected to what matters most.

I recognize that exploring identity, self-worth, sexuality, and body image can feel deeply personal and, at times, overwhelming. It takes courage to face the experiences that shape how you see yourself and move through the world. If you’re struggling with feelings of inadequacy, questioning aspects of your identity, or navigating body image concerns, you don’t have to do it alone. You’re ready to engage in meaningful work and create lasting change, and you’re looking for a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, safety, and genuine investment in your growth.

Trauma leaves us feeling constantly fearful or numb. The stress and tension in our bodies persist even when there is "nothing wrong." You may be exhausted from feeling this way but powerless to change because no one seems to understand, and nothing seems to work. Whether you have been to countless medical professionals, or this is your first-time considering therapy, you are ready for some relief. You are ready to let go of anxiety and depression dictating your choices. You are ready to wake up in the morning with a sense of hope rather than dread. You are ready to like the person you see in the mirror.

It can be hard to resolve sexual differences like mismatched libidos, kink differences or non-monogamy differences because talking about it can unfortunately lead to arguments.
I am here to help! I'm a therapist turned coach with 20 years of experience. Detecting psychological and relationship patterns is what I do best. I start by assessing the emotional dynamics that are happening and identifying any areas that could use improvement. Then we work together through coaching and supplemental resources to get you to your goals.

I support individuals and couples navigating gender, identity shifts, religious and sexual trauma, non-monogamy, kink, intimacy, and the lifelong work of reclaiming the parts of you once deemed too much or not enough.
You deserve pleasure—not the kind you have to earn, justify, or shrink yourself to hold. The kind that’s rooted in your truth. The kind that rises from within you—unruly, alive, and wholly yours. Maybe you’re exploring gender or sexuality, unlearning shame wrapped in religion or stitched into old survival strategies. Maybe you’re longing for relationships—with partners, family, friends or with yourself—that feel more honest, more liberatory, that honor all of who you are.

Relationships shape how we see ourselves and others. When they feel strained, distant, or confusing, it can leave you feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. I work with couples, polycules, and individuals to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and better understand relational patterns. Those same skills—slowing down, listening with intention, and increasing self-awareness—are powerful for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. My approach is warm, conversational, and trauma-informed. I also support people in polyamorous or non-monogamous relationships.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
