You keep it all together for everyone else, but inside you feel anxious, disconnected, or on edge. I help adults heal the lasting impact of childhood trauma and emotional neglect so they can feel safe, connected, and confident in relationships. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that keep you stuck, regulate your nervous system, and create real emotional freedom. These patterns aren’t your fault. They began as protection — shaped by early experiences of feeling unseen, unsafe, or not enough. Now, those same patterns block the closeness and peace you want most.

That’s why I use experiential methods such as EMDR, hypnotherapy, and Gestalt therapy.
These are approaches that go beyond talking and work directly with the deeper layers of the mind. This work helps you: Release long-standing emotional patterns; feel more calm, clear, and in control; and reconnect with yourself in a grounded, lasting way.

My view on therapy is very simple, though not always easy: 'through relationships, we heal’. Many of the barriers that inhibit healthy relationships include negative self-talk, fear of judgement, and our need to maintain a sense of control, especially when we are deeply hurt or wounded. Trauma does not discriminate and it does not wait for an opportune time to present, but we can make sense of it and heal old wounds that hold us back from really connecting with those we love.

Hi! My name is Patrick. As a therapist, it is my goal to walk along side of you while you explore what will help you become the person you want to be from now on. I believe we all change throughout our lives and that life's experiences teach skills we may no longer need and that can be our anchor to our past but not our future causing us to be stuck with beliefs that no longer help us grow. When we don't grow we find ourselves in a trapped with of beliefs, thought process or unresolved life issues that hinder us instead of strengthening us. Getting through life is hard enough without the past thoughts holding us back.

The comprehension of our the most genuine and intuitive aspects of ourselves is at the core of successful psychotherapy. I believe that much of what disturbs us takes place at a level below the surface that is difficult to enter. A secure and non-judgmental relationship between the therapist and the patient in the present moment offers powerful opportunities for such progress to take place. Uncovering how the past has impacted the present is paramount to enriching therapy. Being in private practice, my schedule is flexible and allows me to schedule patients in the morning and evenings.

I started my journey in the mental health field in 2004 as a Behavioral Health Technician Intern while working on my Associates Degree in Social Work. As I felt limited in my duties I continued on to my Bachelors in Psychology which I received from the University of Arizona. During this time I worked for some community agencies and landed at a private rehab north of Tucson. I started out as a discharge planner and was quickly promoted to the lead in charge of the department. Again not satisfied with the limitations and a massive company lay-off I returned to school one last time to receive my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ariz

Trauma can leave you feeling untethered and unsure of who you are, what you believe, or how to move forward. You may be exhausted from carrying the weight of loss, illness, relationship strain, or painful past experiences while trying to function in daily life. Maybe parts of your story feel too heavy or complicated to “go there.” But one thing is clear is that you’re ready for relief. You’re ready to understand yourself more deeply. Most of all, you’re ready to feel whole again and build a life that reflects your authentic self.

Are you carrying pain from the past that still feels present today? Whether you’re navigating the lasting effects of trauma, a stressful childhood, or a single overwhelming event, healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. I often work with first responders, veterans, healthcare professionals, and other individuals who’ve experienced chronic stress, grief/loss, and challenging circumstances. I am also passionate about inner child work, helping clients reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been neglected, hurt, or silenced.

If you struggle to be in the present, to feel safe in your body, to stop overthinking.....if you feel trapped in the past, or feel there are no ways to move into the future... these are the difficult symptoms that often come with PTSD and traumatic experiences. As we partner in detangling the story and the pieces, there are many ways to find and reconnect with your true self, the self that has been buried by pain and protective defenses. Together, we will find a path that is restorative, connected and aligned with your whole being. You get to re-story and own your narrative, where trauma/pain is not the narrator.

Hi, I'm Laura. I originally came into this field to aid others with substance use disorders because I am passionate about it; however, my practice expanded as I entered the field. I started out working in inpatient psychiatric with clients struggling with suicidal ideation, post suicide attempt, homicidal ideation, new or unmanaged psychosis, and alcohol and drug detox. Next, I worked in intensive outpatient for mental health and a residential alcohol and drug treatment center. I've been in private practice telehealth since 2022 and mostly serve those with depression, anxiety, and maintaining a sober lifestyle.

Hi there. I'm grateful you found me. You may be hitting bottom with behaviors that no longer serve you relationally, financially or emotionally or have been deeply impacted by someone who is acting out compulsively. As a person in long term recovery for over two decades, I've received support from some very special Therapists and am grateful to support others in the way that's helped me make sense of and improve my life; work that feeds my soul and shines the light on those dark places so many of us are challenged to step into alone. Together, we can explore, process and create healthy meaning of what's happened to you.

I am an LAC with the philosophy that all individuals are the expert in their own lives. My education and training allows me to support individuals in identifying the cause of their challenges and help them learn new strategies to approach or cope with these challenges. My goal is when the therapeutic relationship comes to a close, clients leave feeling stronger and more resilient, with the internal resources to face life’s challenges. Seeking therapy is brave and vulnerable, it can sometimes feel scary, awkward, even uncomfortable, I get that.

Gestalt Therapists
What is gestalt therapy?
Gestalt therapy is based on the idea that to address unresolved negative feelings, emotions must be not only discussed but also actively expressed in the present moment. The term is from a German word meaning “whole,” and gestalt therapists believe that people should be considered whole entities made up of mind, body, and emotions. Gestalt sessions are rooted in the notion that a client’s total self must be discovered, explored, and confronted, so that they can take greater responsibility for themselves and their behavior, learn to satisfy their own needs while still respecting the needs of others, and reconnect with feelings they might otherwise deny.

How does gestalt therapy work?
Gestalt therapy sessions do not just involve talking with a therapist. Clients may take part in role-playing, re-enactment, or artistic exercises like drawing and painting, with the goal of becoming more aware of negative thought patterns that limit happiness. One common gestalt exercise is “the empty chair,” in which a client sits across from an empty chair representing a partner, relative, boss, or a part of themselves—and, with the therapist’s encouragement, improvises a dialog with it. The intention is to bring the emotions raised by past conflicts into the present and work through them in the moment.

How long does gestalt therapy last?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for gestalt therapy; people who believe that they are making progress typically continue until they feel they’ve addressed the issues that had been holding them back. New patients should understand that it may take some time to become comfortable with gestalt exercises but once they do, they should expect sessions to extend for a number of months, typically spanning at least 12 sessions.

Does gestalt therapy work?
Gestalt therapy has generally been found to be as effective as other forms of talk therapy in helping people living with anxiety, depression, phobias, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders, as well as helping individuals reduce conflict in relationships. Gestalt techniques, on their own or in combination with other therapies, can also be effective in managing physical ailments including ulcerative colitis, migraines, and back spasms. It should be noted that some people may have trouble adapting to gestalt therapy’s lack of formal structure or to a therapist’s close observations of their body language and emotions; others may struggle to commit to techniques that feel unnatural, like the empty chair exercise.
