I became a therapist because everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life, but only those who are truly supported in overcoming their obstacles can reach their goals and continue to thrive. No matter how old we are, we need support and encouragement to improve our lives. As an LMSW, our sessions will be facilitated by me and supervised by Jena McBride, LPC.

We are a group practice and our ideal client is someone who feels like they don’t quite fit into the traditional mold—whether due to their neurodivergence, cultural background, identity, or past experiences. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or feeling unseen in a world that often overlooks marginalized voices. They want a space where they can be their full, unfiltered selves, without judgment or the need to mask. Their goal is to find relief, clarity, and self-acceptance while building tools to navigate life in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

I also enjoy supporting clients and partners navigating challenges related to polyamory, gender identity, trauma, and neurodiversity and religious trauma.
Hi! Even if you already have the capacity to communicate and problem-solve, it can feel almost impossible in the moment when anxiety, hurt, or fear take over. I help clients slow those patterns down and build emotional safety so conversations feel more manageable and productive. Using approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I work with individuals and couples to create real-time shifts in how you experience yourself and each other—especially in moments of conflict or disconnection. When you feel safe, seen, and connected, communication tends to follow more naturally.

I provide an affirming space for autistic, ADHD, and LGBTQIA+ folks, including those seeking gender affirming care.
Are you experiencing intense emotions, constantly worried, or too overwhelmed or numb to feel anything? If you are looking for someone who can break down the therapy process and help you understand the "why" behind symptoms and treatments, I am happy to help! My sessions start by building a relationship at a pace that feels safe to you, as you cannot heal if there is not some level of connection. We then build your toolbox of skills that help you manage your day-to-day symptoms. Once we are confident you are ready, we work on the deeper trauma that may be the source of your distress.

I often work with folks wanting support with eating disorders, their relationship with food or body, or navigating neurodivergence. I especially enjoy supporting people who want to work through past experiences that still feel heavy or continue to affect them today. As an EMDR certified therapist, I walk alongside clients as they process what they’ve been through, build self-compassion, and move toward feeling more at peace in their day to day life.
I have additional training in working with those dealing with dissociation and dissociative disorders. I am also accepting new clients for autism & ADHD assessments.

You deserve pleasure—not the kind you have to earn, justify, or shrink yourself to hold. The kind that’s rooted in your truth. The kind that rises from within you—unruly, alive, and wholly yours.
Maybe you’re exploring gender or sexuality, unlearning shame wrapped in religion or stitched into old survival strategies.
Maybe you’re longing for relationships—with partners, family, friends or with yourself—that feel more honest, more liberatory, that honor all of who you are.

I am a level-2 trained therapist in Internal Family Systems (IFS), trained in EMDR, and follow the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care.
You want more from your therapy. You might be thinking, "I've done some work to understand myself and my childhood and it all makes sense, but I don't feel any better." Or, "I want support for what I'm going through right now, but I don't want to just cope with it forever. I'm ready to go deeper.” You're motivated to understand yourself and your relationships, but also to get to the bottom of what really hurts and actually heal—for good. Here's the thing: when you can finally honor all parts of yourself, you can transform pain and release it, empowering you to have more confidence, agency, and authenticity. I'm here to help.

Transgender Therapists
As a gender-diverse individual, why might I want to see a therapist who is also gender diverse?
A trans or gender-diverse client may want to see a therapist who is also trans or gender diverse because the client may feel safer sharing their experiences and more confident that the therapist will understand, validate, and support them. But trans or gender-diverse clients can also benefit from therapy with cisgender therapists; this is a personal decision based on the connection between the client and the therapist, and if that connection is strong, therapy will be successful.
What if I cannot find a therapist who shares my gender identity?
Therapy can still be effective if a therapist does not share a client’s gender identity; a large body of research indicates that the most important factor in successful therapy is the therapeutic alliance. A therapist can also be interviewed for sensitivity and competence on gender identity and expression to ensure they possess appropriate knowledge and skills. Many therapists have excellent training and extensive experience working with gender-diverse clients, and that expertise can be invaluable despite a therapist not sharing the same firsthand experiences.
How can I recognize a good therapist for working with gender-diverse clients?
An experienced therapist should be able to help clients explore their gender identity and expression, alleviate discomfort related to their gender identity, treat mental health challenges and trauma, address existing relationships and communication with family members and loved ones, and determine the next steps pertaining to nonmedical or medical gender-affirming interventions. To recognize a good therapist, clients can ask about these topics and explore their comfort and connection with the clinician.
How might I inquire about a therapist’s experience working with transgender clients?
Clients should feel comfortable asking therapists directly about their experience working with transgender or gender-diverse clientele. For example, clients may ask about the therapist’s training and education with regard to gender identity, how many trans clients they’ve worked with in the past, and what sorts of matters were discussed. You may wish to inquire how a therapist specifically supports the needs of transgender clients or clients questioning their gender identity. A good clinician who is nonetheless not the right fit for you is often happy to make referrals to others based on the concerns you articulate in a preliminary conversation.
