As a client-centered therapist, I believe that you are a unique individual, and will make it my goal to help you live your best life. It is not my job to tell you what to do but to provide a safe, comfortable space in which we will work together to navigate your journey. We will use evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to work on your goals.
Creating long-term change in therapy often requires hard work and happens slowly. You’re not alone in this process, however, and I am here to provide you with the tools and resources to make this change possible. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.
I obtained my BA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Psychology and Sociology and my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults providing individual, family, and group therapy. in the treatment of substance use and mental health issues.
