An ideal client for me is an individual who is committed to the therapeutic process and open to honest feedback. Individuals who are self-driven and active in their healing, and willing to put in the work necessary to heal.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory based strategies. I am also a certified meditation teacher and I incorporate the concepts of yoga and breath work in therapeutic experiences.
The word "kaivara" is a Sanskrit word meaning "two compasses, the head and the heart", and I am committed to helping clients find the balance in their lives, and balance between the logical and emotional side of their compass.
