But inside, you’re exhausted from overthinking, old wounds that won’t stay in the past, and feeling like you have to be strong all the time.
As a trauma-informed therapist I specialize in working with adults who are juggling a lot: career, family, faith and values, relationships, and the impact of childhood and relational trauma. Naming and shifting harsh inner narratives, understanding your nervous system and triggers, tending to younger parts of you that feel abandoned or not enough.
In our work together, we slow things down so you don’t have to “power through” your feelings anymore. I integrate CBT, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, parts/inner child work, mindfulness, and emotional freedom technique. That might look like: naming and shifting harsh inner narratives, understanding your nervous system and triggers.
Therapy with me is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in real life. We’ll honor who and where you come from while creating space to imagine a life that feels more free, soft, and sustainable. You don’t have to prove your pain or make it sound “pretty” in my office; you just have to show up as you are.
