As a Licensed Social Worker at JWB Wellness Therapy, I have a passion for working with teens, young adults, and adults who are experiencing eating disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I approach therapy using an anti-oppressive, trauma informed, and strengths-based lens. I believe therapy should be collaborative and I strive to support clients in reaching their life worth living goals and find their path to healing.
I am passionate about supporting folks in healing from eating disorders and disordered eating, implementing evidenced based treatments while using a harm reduction approach.
I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), having completed DBT intensive training under the supervision of Dr. Andre Ivanoff, Ph.D. and DBT Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, having completed intensive training with Melanie Harnad, PhD, ABPP. I also have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Based Therapy.
Currently, I only practice telehealth and all clients must be in NY.
