Ayala Kalisher
Marriage & Family Therapist Associate, MA, AMFT
The clients that I work with often come to therapy for some of the following reasons. 1) Issues around sex and sexuality including but not limited to shame, confusion or disconnection- wanting to have a more fulfilling relationship to their sexuality 2) Challenges in relationships and close social dynamics; 3) Process individual and collective trauma 4) Navigating transition periods in life 5) Self Exploration and empowerment. I work with individuals, couples, and relationships of all configurations.
I believe in healing through relationship. Often it is through our closest relationships that we experience our highest highs and our lowest lows. I will support you to move through the hurdles to connection- both with yourself and the important people in your life.
I work with you to supports your own innate wisdom and wholeness. You are likely coming into therapy because you are in pain or experiencing longing for things to be different and you may be having difficulty accessing this part of yourself. I will meet you from a place of compassion, non-judgmental awareness, with a focus on present moment.
