I am a licensed clinical social worker with a decade of experience in providing therapy for individuals and couples. I seek to create a space that is safe, non-judgemental and authentic, and am present with you as a helper in your process of healing and change. My scope of work includes relationship issues, challenges with emotional and physical intimacy, anxious cycles of thinking, feeling disconnected from one's self or others, feelings of ‘stuckness’ and/or difficulty in life transitions. In therapy we will practice tuning into your feelings, thoughts and beliefs that can help guide you.
We will learn how to develop boundaries and incorporate practices to feel more balanced and fulfilled. My style is collaborative and honest, fosters self-compassion, is attachment based, and draws on skill-building and behavioral interventions when fitting. It is essential that therapy be tailored to you and your personal objectives, needs and experience.
My work is informed by a deep understanding of trauma and how it lives in our body, and the firm belief that systems of oppression have a strong impact on our social and emotional wellbeing.
