We are complex; we go through iterations of ourselves. It's a healthy part of being human. My job is not to judge you but to make space to encourage your next iteration. In our lifetime we will be messy and beautiful; kind and mean; complicated and simple. We are allowed to change & grow - it's not always easy. I'm a straight shooter who will tell it like I see it and compassionately challenge you. You're not "too much" for me. I don't see your challenges as deficiencies, but rather as coping skills that are no longer working for you. I'm client focused and I allow you to set the pace, flow, and tone. I meet you where you are.
I practice holistic, integrative counseling. I was trained classically and somatically. This informs how I see your struggles. My goal is to help you track and train your nervous system so you can sit with discomfort and grow. I use elements of Internal Family Systems as well as narrative and person-centered therapy. I offer Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP)
I work with women's issues such as (in)fertility, anger, grief, anxiety, shame, depression, and unraveling unhelpful ideas. I also work with men to explore life transitions & self concept. I can't guarantee that counseling will immediately help, but I can guarantee that it is the gateway to change. I currently run my group practice, Awaken Holistic Therapy
