Hello! My name is Mrs. Allison Oneslager. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I attended Florida State University and have been practicing for 2.5 years. I treat depression, anxiety, stress, loss, trauma, and trauma-related symptoms using evidence-based practices. I like to meet my clients where they are and help them reach their goals for the future. I believe it is important to look at the whole picture to better understand current stressors and symptoms. I look forward to speaking with you and assisting you in becoming the person you want to be!

Over the years we have seen a rise in the need of mental health support throughout our nation. This rise has been due to the courage and strength of those in our communities who have been willing to ignore social stigmas and break generational curses, in order to seek the necessary help. My main goal and objective is and has always been to provide quality mental health care to my community.

Let my 20-year experience as a Clinical Social Worker and 16-year experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker be your ticket to a better life! Working with couples, families, and individuals is a joy! Difficulties that we can face together include Anger Management, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Self Care, and others. I am accepting new clients, offering services in person, as well as virtually (video or phone calls). As young adults, you have it harder than ever: you’re dealing with a high cost of living, having to live with your parents longer than you’d prefer, poor job prospects, uncertainty about your career, struggling to make and maintain friendships, increasing student debt, as well as the exposure to social media and the high expectations you develop of yourself as a result. Then you have the pandemic that affected so many of you during high school and/or college, causing you to miss the big events that many were looking forward to.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I try to offer affordable mental health counseling, because I believe that therapy should be accessible to all who need it. I also offer art therapy, play therapy, and life coaching. I want to help you to feel better--and help you to achieve the goals that matter to you.
