My practice is half children and half adults. Having fostered and adopted myself, I am particularly skilled to assist foster and adoptive family needs. I also use play, expressive arts, sand tray and music to assist in therapy. Clients with thought disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and depression are particularly welcome. I am located in the east side of Milwaukee near the lake.
My office on the east side is a low keyed space where anyone can feel welcome and at home to talk ( or play or draw or write) about what is bothering them. Sometimes it is hard to talk, so creating a world in the sand tray can help jump start your journey towards healing. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, race, culture, creed, sexual orientation.
I believe we each have more that is right within us than what is wrong. Sometimes we need to find out where our strengths are and how to use them for support in managing our difficulties. A counselor is a companion on that journey. I have a small practice so that I can give care and support to my clients big and small.
