About
Often we are faced with decisions that will have a big impact on the course of our life. Even if we already know the better option, it can feel totally overwhelming thinking about all it takes to make the change. Whether it's an addiction, loss of sense of self, or religion, everything else can slip to the background making it hard just to get through the day. When we work collaboratively in therapy, you will experience new things about yourself and what your priorities really are while letting go of what we are told we should be or do.
I have extensive experience working with people struggling with substance use, out of control sexual behavior, loss of sense of self, and major life changes. My approach is to identify the source of this pain and work with you to understand and grow from it it while providing affirmative care.
I consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ community as well as those struggling with their identity in their religious communities. Collaboration and Journey can best describe my approach as this is a trip we will take together helping you get to know the best you.
