Avery Macierowski is not currently accepting new clients.
Schedule is Currently Full- I appreciate and enjoy working with those who have been impacted by trauma. Besides veterans and military family members, I enjoy working with LGBTQ populations, those with Anger issues, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Grief, Men's issues, and those struggling with substance abuse and addiction issues. As a Trauma Informed therapist, I work to be aware of the complex impact of trauma (any perceived trauma) on a person’s suffering and how it shapes a person’s efforts to cope. I am also an approved clinician to work with Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP)s by Dr. Elaine Aaron.
My intention is for you to feel safe bringing all parts of yourself into our sessions. All of you - all feelings, all identities - are welcome. Only in a relationship of relative safety & non-judgement can growth happen. I maintain that YOU are the expert on you and as such I take a client-centered, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy.
It is very important to have a good relationship with your therapist. I offer free consultations to answer questions, ensure I can provide what you are looking for, and to discuss ways in which I can help. Please call or E-mail to get started. Moving away from Telehealth and offering In Person Therapy. INFJ, Enneagram 4
