Do you have a teenager who is struggling with issues around friendships, identity, and connection? As a former middle school teacher, I am very familiar with the complicated and confusing social dynamics that teenagers must navigate each day and how painful it can be to feel like you don't belong. In our increasingly technology-filled lives, social skills like building close friendships, learning to empathize with others, and building self-confidence have become even harder for teenagers to develop. I specialize in helping teens build social and emotional skills so that they can thrive in all areas of their lives.
My background in education and training as a Marriage and Family Therapist gives me a unique understanding of teenagers’ experiences at school and how to create meaningful change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and sometimes humorous, with the goal of helping clients feel safe expressing their concerns.
If you feel like I might be a good fit for you, please reach out. I offer free consultations so that you can get a sense of who I am as a therapist before deciding if you want to move forward. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
