Searching for the right therapist can be quite a challenge. The counselors at ACC are here to help you through your struggles. If you are experiencing difficulty in your relationship or struggling with life in general, we will help you identify patterns and guide you with strategies to make helpful changes. You will learn practical skills and be guided on how to use them effectively to feel heard and communicate calmly. Therapy can be brief or long-term, and is offered both in-person & via telehealth. Weekly sessions will be held to ensure you have the tools you need. Alternative therapies such as EMDR, Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Techniques, and EMDR are quick and effective in lifting negative symptoms. TFT is an excellent form of treatment if you suffer from phobias, anxiety, OCD, and/or trauma. The approach is gentle yet direct.

The connection between the client and therapist is vital, and thus, it's okay to come for one session to assess whether you're comfortable with me. Therapy is for growth and change, and it requires someone who will listen and be supportive, yet someone who can challenge you. Anger Management 818 offers over 12 anger management classes weekly, both in person and via telehealth. Most of our classes are co-ed, however we offer a women's only class and a men's only class as well. Court-order and probation-ordered clients welcome! Materials covered include Anger Management, Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication, Boundary Setting and Codependency. Volunteer and court mandated are all welcome. Pet Loss Support Group

The pet loss support group is facilitated by Sasha Kleinman. Your grief is real, and it deserves care - you're not alone. Together, we can create space for remembrance, healing, and gentle forward movement - at your pace. This group is for you if you are struggling to watch your pet age. Your pet's health is declining. Your pet passed away. The group meets weekly virtually on Thursdays at 7 pm. Intake is required prior to joining the group. Individual therapy is also offered. Intake is $70 (for the initial 1:1 session) and $300/month for the weekly classes.
