Addressing life difficulties can be overwhelming, stressful and isolating. It takes a lot of courage to overcome your obstacles, but doing it alone may not be enough. Pursing psychotherapy is the first step to elicit change in your life. My goal is to provide an empathic, safe, and understanding environment to help clients work through their difficulties together. The goal is to figure out what rings true to you, that has not always been evident. By working together, we can help you find greater joy, freedom and satisfaction in life.
Psychotherapy can help develop a different understanding of your perceptions by making new discoveries and developing new insights. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I specialize in working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, complex medical conditions, substance use disorders and other process addictions.
I believe that building a strong connection is the most important thing in beginning to help you. It is important that you feel safe, understood and valued.
