My name is Autumn Ward, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in California. I focus on anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life transitions. I am eclectic in practice and follow several theoretical approaches focused on evidence-based therapies. I love working with people of all ages and situations who want to increase their functioning and better their understanding of themselves and the world around them. I have extensive experience working with humans struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, and adjusting to life changes.
I use evidence-based techniques and treatments to assist my clients. I select effective interventions based solely on the needs of each client. I offer an empathetic and caring approach while helping my clients achieve their goals. I am certified in DBT and experienced in the use of CBT, solution-focused, and narrative therapies.
I am an open-minded and understanding clinician. I am direct and challenge clients to do their best as I attempt to help guide them along the way. I use humor and empathy in sessions and encourage an open, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.
