Announcement icon During the COVID-19 crisis, I am accepting new patients. I meet with patients via a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform.
Your desire is to live life to the fullest and build healthy, authentic relationships with your loved ones. You try your best, but just can’t seem to escape the constant worry and anxiety that keeps you down. Relationships are inconsistent and unpredictable. It is difficult to trust others. The feeling of being “stuck” is often the result of traumatic experiences that occur during childhood and as adults. I specialize in helping clients move the body into healthy self-regulation, restore resiliency, and find life satisfaction.
I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner-in-Training (Intermediate Year) and completed two trainings of the Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience series. I also use CBT with clients. I have been a school counselor at both the high school and elementary school levels. In this setting, I work with children, adolescents, and adults.
Healing from the negative physical and emotional impact of trauma is possible. This is the core belief of my practice. The nervous system has the remarkable ability to rewire itself and return to its naturally calm state. I create a non-judgmental, safe space in which healing and integration of physiological shifts can occur.
