About
I am an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties with daily living. I have worked with individuals with a variety of mental health issues that include: substance abuse, addiction, LGBTQIA+, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, anger, ADHD, autism, physical disability, and mood disorders. In addition, I have experience working in the public sector for individuals and families which gives me additional knowledge of systems and resources that can be an asset to my clients through a therapeutic lens. I offer a sliding fee scale.
I enjoy helping individuals of all ages; by facilitating change, improving communication and achieving their goals. I am a Trauma Informed, Person Centered and Solution Focused therapist. I believe in and facilitate a balanced approach with empathy and gentle nudges to increase awareness and to cultivate the courage to try new skills.
Engaging in therapy is a brave step, and finding the right therapist can be a challenge, especially in the newness of telehealth! I believe and know that I can accommodate a lot of different personalities within unique situations and believe humor is healing. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, hiking and kayaking.
