I believe that most people go through something difficult in their lives and need help moving through the resulting pain that they feel. My goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable, and connected to me while we do our work together. I am a trauma informed therapist who works with a variety of clients and client issues. My work includes anxiety, depression, complex trauma, substance use, parenting, and life transitions in adolescents and adults. I am person-centered and believe that sessions should be focused on the needs of the client.
I believe in the mind-body connection and take a holistic approach to client care. I utilize an integrative approach which includes talk therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR therapy. I also have specialized training in the areas of sexual assault and domestic violence.
It can be difficult to reach out for help. When I started my own therapeutic journey, I was not sure of what I needed. Now, years later, I believe it is the best thing I have done for myself.
