I have spent 10 years in the mental health field focusing my passions on mediation and conciliation for couples, families, churches, and organizations as well as childhood behavior, transition to young adulthood, and trauma. I am available for faith-affirming and Christ-centered sessions, upon request. I am trained in DBT-Informed services and utilize a strengths-based perspective as well as a solution-focused approach. I will provide a validating and supportive environment to partner with you for your desired goals. I run Peaks Counseling LLC. as a practice start-up in Downtown Flagstaff affiliated with Balance Health and Wellness.
I utilize an amiable approach when building connection. When I think about counseling, it isn't something that needs to be done constricted to couches and notepads. I incorporate walks, games with children, home/school visits for observation and assessment, and other tools specific to the client to ensure a positive therapeutic relationship.
I am currently accepting clients in person and telehealth and have extended hours of operation Monday-Friday to work best with your needs. My hope is for all to have access to the help they seek and I will waive the initial intake assessment to assist you in finding exactly who you are looking for.
