I specialize in working with athletes, health care workers, and first responders. Oftentimes we have a strong identity tied to our work or sport, yet experience acute and chronic trauma associated with extreme lifestyles and obscure scheduling, while still contending with identity conflict and inadequate self-care. When we define ourselves by our capacity for action, exist in a high-stress and often misunderstood world, and constantly give of ourselves, sometimes we need help.

I emphasize a holistic approach based on integrative wellness (including nutrition, fitness, and breath work). I have more than 10 years of experience working with trauma and personality disorders and frequently employ psychodynamic, person-centered, attachment theory, DBT, and mentalization-based interventions.

I believe that psychotherapy is a fundamentally relational process and my role is similar to both a detective and tour guide. I help you explore who you are, where you've been, and who you want to become. Topics of focus may include distress tolerance, emotional regulation, self-identity and efficacy, trauma and attachment, or interpersonal relationships.
