About
We at Aurora Psychological Services strive to offer comprehensive psychological care and veterans services in a nurturing environment where our clients feel attended to, safe, and most importantly heard by their practitioner. Our goals are to help you be your best and most authentic self. We utilize the most effective and efficient patient- centered and strength- based therapeutic models that are individually and tailored for each client. Our services are provided in an atmosphere in which our clients are encouraged to fully participate in the process. Ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect is our primary tenet.
We work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics to address a myriad of presenting mental and behavioral health issues and develop and discover healthier alternatives. Clients vary, and this corresponds to their therapeutic and treatment needs. APS utilizes various treatment models including, but not limited to CBT, CPT, PE and Mindful theories.
Aurora Psychological Services also completes full psychological evaluations to assess for varying ailments including, but not limited to: ADHD, PTSD, mood, occupational discord, stress management, personality traits and career batteries. We complete evaluations to determine one’s intelligence quotient, aptitude and assess any current intelligence deficits.
