Dr. Aurélie Weinstein is a Child and Family Therapist. Dr. Weinstein is passionate about helping her clients work through challenging life circumstances which include serious illness, anxiety, traumas, phobias, depression, self-esteem, attachment, and divorce related issues. She applies the best research-based treatments to effectively help her clients. For young children, she uses Play Therapy that is well regarded for producing results in young children. For children, adolescents, and adults who have suffered from trauma, she uses EMDR treatment and for those with depression and self-esteem issues, she uses DBT treatment.
As an certified anxiety expert for children and adults, she uses ERP and CBT therapies, the gold standard treatments. Dr Weinstein is also a certified positive discipline parent educator and offers parenting classes to provide guidance to parents. She also offers parent-child sessions for improving secure attachment in young children using Theraplay methods.
