I enjoy working with individuals of diverse age groups, from childhood to adulthood. My goal is to empower my clients to deal more effectively with their life circumstances by eliciting insight and equipping them with adaptive coping skills; while utilizing their faith to assist them in the healing process. When working with children, I work closely with the parents to facilitate a team effort in addressing the needs of the child and the family as a whole.
Aside from treating a variety of problems (depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, divorce, grief and loss, anger); I often conduct psychological assessments to help clarify a diagnosis, especially ADHD in children and adults. Personality assessments are valuable in guiding the treatment process for more effective treatment results.
As a solo practitioner, I provide individualized attention to each of my clients, while accomodating scheduling demands. As a Latina, I offer services in Spanish and I am sensitive to cultural and ethnic issues. My Catholic faith assists me in guiding my clients to more fulfilling lives.
