I'm Tina Bimpong, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 8 years of experience. I've had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I’m passionate about making a positive impact on the well-being of my clients. I understand the challenges of living with chemical dependency, anxiety, depression, various forms of abuse, and the immediate and long-term effects of trauma. I recognize that each individual has unique needs, and I treat everyone with respect and dignity. My approach is goal-oriented, results-driven, compassionate, and nonjudgmental, as I have a deep passion for therapy.
I hold a degree in social sciences and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, and reality therapy, among others. I’m also trained in family behavior therapy.
