Patients come to my practice looking to better their lives. They often come with a presenting problem that has brought them in at this specific point in time and they are seeking resolution and relief from that situation. However, in addition to more short-term, symptom relief, many patients come hoping to attain a better understanding of themselves from the inside out — from their thoughts to their behaviors. In short, they are trying to increase their awareness and understanding of themselves in an attempt to improve the quality of their relationships and their lives.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and director of Skaneateles Psychology Associates. I have been in practice for over 20 years and have experience working with patients of all different ages and presenting problems. I most frequently work with adults, with common presenting problems including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties.

I am aware that seeking treatment is not easily done and respect what is required to reach out. I welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds and have a large percentage of individuals who are extremely high-functioning and come to my practice to work on emotional growth and increase self-awareness.

Social Anxiety Group for Middle School Girls

We are offering a cognitive behavioral group therapy program for girls ages 10-13 (grades 5-8) who have difficulty in social situations due to anxiety, avoidance, or social skills deficit.
