About
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hope College and Master’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago. I have wide-ranging experience working with all ages regarding crisis intervention, trauma, depression, anxiety and adjustment related issues. I lived in the North Carolina woods where I worked with at-risk youth in a behavioral therapy program as well as a residential mental health setting with adolescents. I have extensive experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, and adjustment to illness in a hospital setting.
I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and believe sexual health is an important piece of every person’s story and overall health. I work with individuals & couples who may be dealing with sexual dysfunctions such as: low libido, desire differences, issues surrounding sexual & gender orientation, faith and others.
Life is not meant to walk alone. Taking the step to seek out therapy is brave and courageous. I believe a major key to a successful therapeutic outcome is the therapeutic relationship. I strive to provide not only a safe space but a space where clients can feel brave. I’d love the opportunity to talk with you and see how we may work together.
