My life’s work is to help all people improve their lives through skills they can learn through counseling. My goal is to empower you or your loved one as you discover new tools to help you manage and persevere through life’s struggles. In my specialized experience working as a former special education teacher, professional school counselor and now licensed mental health counselor, I have been successful working with individuals with varied cognitive and social impairments, depression, anxiety and stress teaching them the skills they need to navigate the challenges they encounter.
I use an integrative approach to working with individuals that includes Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Reality therapies addressing issues such as struggling to cope with change, managing emotions, relationships issues, academic difficulties, neurodivergence, those on the Autism Spectrum and behavioral issues.
