My name is Dr. Audrey Hill-Lindsay and I am licensed Psychologist in California (License PSY22270), as well as New York License 020483). I believe that therapy is a healing journey that can help to build strength, discover peace, and achieve more equilibrium in one's life. Each person must find their own unique path based on their goals, desires and past experiences. I work with a wide array of diagnoses, including mood & anxiety disorders, trauma, life changes, cognitive & memory problems, addiction & substance abuse.
I have worked with clients of all ages, including young professionals and geriatric populations, as well as clients with varying degrees of physical health conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, women's health issues, and cancer. Working to balance treating the physical and mental health conditions together is a strong focus of mine.
I tend to communicate very openly and directly but in a very calm and empathetic manner. I am quite patient but I do keep our focus on achieving goals and developing coping skills along with gaining insight. Most of my clients would likely say I have a warm demeanor and am very supportive.
