I have expertise in a wide range of issues, including management of stress and anxiety, enhancement of self-confidence and self-esteem, and adapting to changes in your life and identity. In addition to listening to you and helping you to better understand yourself and your challenges, I can teach you techniques you can use to more effectively manage your difficulties and increase your ability to fully experience life’s joys.
I am also a certified yoga teacher and I am able to incorporate elements of yoga into therapy if that interests you. Yoga practices such as breathing exercises and mindfulness are especially beneficial for developing greater self-awareness, relaxation, mind-body connection and a sense of well-being.
I work with adults and teens. I welcome clients of every ethnicity, cultural background and sexual orientation. I provide therapy in English and Spanish.
