I work with adult clients (ages 18 - 65+) and am passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially transgender and non-binary individuals. My focuses include mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety spectrum disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am particularly drawn to helping clients navigate existential topics like identity/self-worth, fears of death or loss, feelings of emptiness, and experiences of loneliness. I am additionally trained in Exposure and Response-Prevention therapy (ERP).
My approach to therapy is person-centered, grounded in the belief that everyone can face life’s challenges with courage when provided with individualized tools and support. Adopting an anti-oppression and strengths-based perspective, I strive to create a space where clients can explore their thoughts, experiences, and emotions without shame or judgment.
I’m originally from Michigan and earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University. People are more than their symptoms, challenges, or struggles and there is no one-size fits all path to recovery. I am happy to meet you where you're at and help you get to where you want to be.
