I am dedicated to assisting adults and families navigate life changes to achieve improved ways of coping and communicating. Through my trauma training, I can help clients of all ages explore how trauma – past or current – has shaped their perspectives, moods and behavior and then collaborate with the client to achieve a more satisfactory and rewarding life. I have also worked extensively in schools and can help families that are struggling in managing their child’s school behaviors, especially if the child is struggling to manage their ADHD.
Trained in CBT, DBT, I can help clients address their negative self-talk, while learning coping skills to manage difficult emotions. Acquiring assertive communication skills helps clients improve relationships with family, friends and co-workers. My training in TF-CBT has enabled me to help clients reclaim their lives after experiencing trauma.
Life isn't easy and there are no roadmaps. Anxiety, depression and grief get in our way, preventing us from living our fullest.
