I believe in the therapeutic process and I hope to provide a space for unconditional kindness, openness, and honesty in order to support you through anything you're bringing into therapy. I want to offer an authentic space where anyone can show up in a real way and acclimate to therapy in order to create a process that meets the needs of each and every person. I believe that the therapeutic process is co-created, I want to encourage you to practice personal empowerment and advocate for your own perspective and creativity as I guide in order for you to create awareness, insight, and healing in order to dig deeper versus feeling stuck
I work with teens, young adults, and older adults from a person-centered and trauma informed approach and sometimes incorporate creativity in my approach. I have extensive experience and a passion for working with neurodivergence, anxiety, grief/loss, including disenfranchised grief, life transitions, identity, and substance misuse.
My goal as an art and psychotherapist is to offer a safe and respectful space for anyone who wants to engage in creative self-expression through a variety of therapeutic approaches. It is a difficult step to reach out and the process can be confusing but I will respond quickly and attempt to make the process as simple as possible.
