I specialize in treating clients with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I have been trained to use a variety of counseling tools to assist in decreasing symptoms and improving quality of life. These include art therapy, virtual reality therapy, CBT, DBT, and narrative techniques.

During the first few sessions, we will review family and life history as well as gain education about ADHD. We will process trauma associated with a life lived with ADHD. I find painting both a stimulating and a soothing activity. When clients draw or paint while talking, they are typically more steady in conversation and able to communicate better. We are able to pace treatment appropriately and incorporate skills learning into the creative process. Clients find they enjoy treatment better and report improvements in their lives.
