Do you ever wonder how you've gotten to the place you are? Have you tried to pinpoint a particular event or relationship that seemed to have "caused" your discontent? Perhaps you're looking for the person you "used to be." Oftentimes, the reasons for feeling the way we do are complex and take time to uncover. My approach is supportive and collaborative, working with you to explore the things that are keeping you from feeling the way you want to. I will walk with you on your own personal path, in hopes that you begin to feel more connected with yourself, the people you love, and to the world around you.
Together we will begin to look at the patterns in your nervous system. These may be present from trauma, or simply from living in today’s world. My wish is that you leave each session feeling as if you have internal resources to access. All modalities used are based in neuroscience and attachment theory—Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems and EMDR.
I enjoy working with those in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I also have experience with neurodivergence. New parents, young professionals, those experiencing changes in mid-life are all within my scope of practice. Ingrained into the foundation of my work is the acknowledgment of the deep impact of colonization, systemic oppression, and marginalization.
