I am dedicated to assisting adults with life's challenges and transitions to improve their quality of life and help them meet their individual goals. For more than 20 years, I worked with adults and their families to navigate the challenges of aging as a professional geriatric care manager and dementia expert. Now as a therapist, I specialize in depression, anxiety, family/relational issues, and grief and loss. Though I enjoy working with adults of all ages, I continue to use my expertise in care giving, dementia, and resource and referral for older adults and their families as well.
I believe that all people have the potential to heal, grow, and thrive through supportive relationships, proven therapies, and learning new skills and strategies. I use a collaborative approach with focus on evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and other supportive and integrative approaches.
