People rarely come to therapy on a whim. Usually, there has been much deliberation and agonizing before an appointment is made. I have been working with people in a mentoring/coaching/therapy capacity for over 25 years and I know it is scary to begin a relationship with someone you don't know. I try to make it easier by being approachable and straightforward; Solas, my dog is there to engage as much or little as you wish. The consistent feedback I get from my clients and those I mentor is that they feel heard, honored, valued and safe.

Others are motivated individuals in transition as well as mid-life, people exploring the end or beginning of a relationship, or people who wish to desensitize trauma (sexual, emotional, PTSD, etc.) with EMDR.
