I was born and raised in Las Vegas but relocated to Utah with my wife in 2014. I have spent most of my career as a business consultant and enjoy helping others simplify complex issues. After my own struggles, I realized that these skills could easily be transferred to individuals who had challenges in their personal lives. I am drawn to working with others who are overwhelmed by all the demands life places on them.

When people experience life stressors, life changes, and/or trauma they often find themselves lost and looking for relief. My great passion is to provide healing and relief to the lost looking for therapeutic relief from trauma, depression and stress issues. I have been helping adults, adolescents and children from all walks of life find new, healthier expressions of themselves, to finally find a peaceful wholeness and fulfillment; to be empowered. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, children and adolescent's disorders, Anxiety and depression along with personality disorders. I emphasize mindfulness, emotion regulation, Distress Tolerance and interpersonal relationship skills

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have been a director over substance abuse and mental health programs, working with a variety of clients. I am experienced in adult and adolescent addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal and relationship issues, personality disorders, and victim issues stemming from all areas of abuse; as well as additional training in trauma and domestic violence.

In my therapy office, I bring a warm, impartial setting where partners can communicate, reconcile, and heal. With a focus on Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method, we work towards resolving disagreements, reestablishing trust, and deepening intimacy in relationships. Through new shared understandings, couples can renew their bond and feel connected. With individuals, we work on anxiety, self-discovery, and life's complexities, while also addressing identity, personal goals, and resiliency, fostering a deeper understanding of self. Together, we focus on building stronger relationships and greater satisfaction.

My approach to therapy is making you the boss. Therapy is an investment of your time and energy and I want to honor that. My job is not to tell you what to do, it’s to give you the tools, education, and professional insights that motivate and inspire you to recognize what is best for you. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC). I specialize in both individual and couples therapy. I am trained in EMDR. With a warm approach, I focus on creating a genuine relationship where my clients can share their struggles and find a supportive ally. I view the client as the expert on themselves and work collaboratively toward their healing and development. I take a holistic approach and enjoy working with diverse social and cultural backgrounds. I integrate various empirically based therapies such as CBT, CFT, EMDR, IFS, interpersonal, reality therapy.

I work with individuals who are seriously committed to living fully. My practice primarily focuses on sexual addiction. If you struggle with sexual addiction, you need someone who understands it, been through it and has a plan for you. That's me! When one has cancer, they turn to the specialists in cancer. It is crucial that you let those who specialize in this disease help you through the many moving parts. I understand this addiction - it's my passion to help as many people as possible!
