I specialize in helping families, couples and individuals. I am also trained in helping single adults, adolescents, children and those in emotionally abusive situations. I am trained in many therapy techniques including EMDR, DBT, CBT, DNMS, IFS and attachment based therapy among others. I use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure each client has a personally tailored experience. Therapy doesn't have to take years - you can be on your way to a healthier happier way of relating to people and the world around you sooner than you may think.

I have over 20 years experience working and growing with the continually developing mental health field. I believe in the immovable strength that all people have within them. Trauma, pain, and disheartenment are all part of the human experience. We are all connected by these experiences, and our abilities to overcome life’s greatest challenges. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach and I believe strongly in my ability to work with the diversity of mental health issues.

Delainee was born and raised in Delta, Utah. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University in 2018. She completed her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Delainee followed this career path because of her desire to help others achieve their potential, and serve as a resource to her community. Delainee has a passion for helping others and serving in the community. She enjoys her free time spent coaching the Delta High Drill Team for the past 3 years, and desires to continue serving in that position.

For the past 11 years, I have worked with adolescents and their families in residential treatment and outpatient therapy. This time has only deepened my empathy and understanding for individuals that endure very difficult life circumstances. I admire those seek help and healing. A strong relationship is the foundation of therapy. I am especially skilled at building the trust necessary to address complex behavioral and emotional issues. I especially enjoy helping children, adolescents, and their parents create safety in their homes, improve communication, change negative patterns, and believe that they can heal.

My goal as a therapist is to help clients find healing from within to become empowered to make changes in their external world. I have worked with mental health issues for several years and have successfully helped children, adolescents and adults work through their issues. I have experience with postpartum depression, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, abuse, addictions and many other mental health diagnoses. I also specialize in marriage, family and relationship counseling.

My years of experience working with substance and behavior addictions have created a strong foundation which supports lasting healthy recovery. I accomplish this by utilizing my training in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy & Gottman's Sound Relationship House. I have found great success with those who have otherwise lost hope. My approach is free of judgment and remains deeply empathetic. I am a genuine clinician who is uniquely proficient in reaching through to the seemingly unreachable.
