My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to experience the compassionate and judgement free care that can be provided while working to grow in life and interpersonal relationships. I specialize in working with clients to process trauma, grief, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and faith transitions.

Growing as a family is hard. Pregnancy and childbirth can be triggering. I have personally experienced situations where I needed expert help to guide me through the maze in a way where I emerged resilient and empowered. I specialize in trauma, as it seems that almost everyone has experienced trauma at some point in life. It is helpful to understand how trauma is processed by the brain and the body in a completely different way from processing a healthy, happy experience.

Kylie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is Zest for Life Counseling’s Executive Director. Kylie completed a Masters in Social Work with Utah Valley University and is currently completing a doctor of social work degree with an emphasis in advanced clinical practice with the University of Kentucky. Kylie has spent majority of her professional career working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, self-harm, sexuality, postnatal mood disorders and insecure attachment within the family unit.

My name is Jessica Stone. I have Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in human services. I then obtained my master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England. I am a Board Certified-Dance Movement Therapist. I love reconnecting the mind and body and integrating movement into therapy. After all, movement is change and change is movement. My focus is supporting individuals and their families in offering, accessing, and receiving the best mental health care possible.

Dr. Spencer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), an AAMFT approved supervisor and an owner and clinical director of Zest for Life Counseling. He has more than a decade of experience working with individuals, couples and families. Dr. Spencer utilizes evidenced based practices and specializes in working with trauma, grief, and couples on the brink of divorce. Dr. Spencer completed a Bachelors degree in Family Studies from Weber State University, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University, and a Doctorate in Human Development and Family Science also from Oklahoma State University.

I strongly believe that before the more technical work can begin, there must be a trusting therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist. I prefer the relationship and therapy in general to develop organically, being authentic, supportive, transparent, confidential, and compassionate. I am committed to seeing that you feel safe and empowered and that you receive the therapeutic impact needed to cope with life challenges, heal and develop insight.

I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in addiction, trauma and grief and loss. I decided to go into this field after personally struggling with substance addiction and the loss of my father at a young age.
