I seek to first get clients ready to change then support them as they lead the way. This goes for the person with depression who needs to reshape their relationships; the person with PTSD facing their painful past; and the gay person grappling with the consequences of coming out or not.

Now accepting new clients! I know the idea of therapy can often be daunting. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to experience the compassionate and judgement free care that can be provided while working to grow in life and interpersonal relationships. I specialize in working with clients to process trauma, grief, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and faith transitions.

The decision to seek out a therapist is an important first step towards positively addressing conflicts, managing distress, and learning to cope with negative or overwhelming feelings. Our team of therapists bring years of therapy experience. We work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are Deaf or come from Deaf families (includes hearing family/friends who sign). We provide a supportive, nurturing environment. We use a multimodal approach incorporating mind-body therapies with evidence-based treatments. We also offer forensic-clinical services and applied behavior analysis treatment.

I can help you process what you are experiencing and develop healthier, more effective coping and communication skills. For in-person clients, I offer hiking sessions and rock-climbing sessions. Vibroacoustic therapy and somatic processing are also available to in-person clients and help release stress and trauma from the body.

Depression and anxiety cause emotional pain that can feel like a permanent personality change. Sadness, anger, and shame can spiral out of control until we hardly recognize ourselves. The truth is, it’s not permanent! There is hope! There are many reasons we might find ourselves in despair. Depression can be caused by grief, anxiety, ADHD, adversity in childhood, narcissistic abuse, troubled relationships, or any number of mental illnesses. It can also seem to come from nothing at all! Sometimes existing is just exhausting!

Behind our behavior lies a need. Sometimes those needs are so disguised by extreme, difficult behaviors and emotions that it’s difficult to see the need. Kelsey is a Certified Social Worker. Clinically, she works with children, adolescents, and adults in the St. George office location.  Kelsey completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Family Studies and a Master of Social Work degree with Utah Valley University. Currently, Kelsey is preparing for certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and uses Child Centered Play Therapy, AutPlay, Filial Therapy, and other art and play based interventions including Sand Tray Therapy. She is able to accommodate and clinically support preschool age children and above (3+).

I work with clients that have experienced life's problems and are are stuck. My original motivation came from my trauma as an infantry soldier in Vietnam. I find that understanding fear, conflict, and trauma and how we respond to them have tremendous influence on our well being. Having traveled the road to recovery I know much of the terrain and I want to help others to navigate the path from despair to peace. I focus my work on depression, anxiety, gender, religious, and trauma problems. I have certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. and use Internal Family principles and techniques.

I strongly believe that before the more technical work can begin, there must be a trusting therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist. I prefer the relationship and therapy in general to develop organically, being authentic, supportive, transparent, confidential, and compassionate. I am committed to seeing that you feel safe and empowered and that you receive the therapeutic impact needed to cope with life challenges, heal and develop insight.

Hi! My name is Brittney! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in NV and UT, Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor in LV and EMDR Trained in Las Vegas, NV. Living in Vegas, I have had the privilege of being exposed to diverse populations along with alternative lifestyles. I have experience with working in a non-profit setting for almost 8 years now and working with a diverse set of populations including adolescents, family, couples, LGBTQIA, individuals in the entertainment industry and individuals in the justice system/probation/federal and running groups.

My best work is with newlyweds, teenagers, and young adults. Though I enjoy working with these populations, and find much success, I am also very successful when working with children due to my fun loving and playful personality. Many of my clients come to my office on the account of anxiety, depression, ADHD, racism, and PTSD including religious and sexual trauma. Most of my clients are searching for acceptance, healing, coping strategies and emotional support. I provide a safe emotional space necessary for the healing process and find much fulfillment from my career.
