My passion is bringing hope and healing to individuals who have experienced a traumatic or stressful event or situation. When severe stress or trauma is experienced it is not unusual to feel unraveled or emotionally uprooted. I help my clients, who include children, adults, couples, and families, find hope and gain healthy perceptions of themselves. I enable clients to strengthen their relationships, so they can recognize themselves as the safe confident and complete individuals they are.
There is not a single therapeutic approach that is perfect for everyone. I have been trained in multiple modalities such as CBT, DBT, Theraplay, and TF-CBT to address the many symptoms that stem these difficult situations. And to create a treatment plan to meet individual needs.
I have sought to gain knowledge about the many dynamics of life experiences and have worked in a variety of settings to obtain that knowledge, to create a safe environment and to effectively help individual feel impowered.
