My primary focus is to help individuals identify their true value in their authentic selves in a caring and safe environment. I created Inner Core Counseling based on a belief that we can change our negative dysfunctional core beliefs, into positive functional core beliefs, providing the ability to progress and bring forth that strength we all have inside of us...to overcome depression, anxiety, addictions, and grief, as well as other issues that bring unhappiness and distress into our lives. I strive to help my clients find the peace and happiness needed for a fulfilling life.
I have experience with all ages of clients including children, at-risk youth and their families, individual, and couples. My training and experience include; all types of addictions (including sexual), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR.
I strive to bring in a spiritual component to my therapy if the client is open to this. However, my first priority is that of my client's belief system.
